The promotion, growth and development of tourism and culture within the MRC Les Moulins region are the main focus of Tourisme des Moulins. To achieve its goal, the organization works closely with various stakeholders in the MRC Les Moulins to foster regional and local development strategies as well as initiatives aimed at structuring a hospitality program geared to offering quality information on the many activities, attractions and services available to tourists, excursionists and local residents alike. Programs have also been developed in the fields of marketing and communications.
Main Objectives of Tourisme des Moulins:
- Manage tourism information and hospitality services within the MRC Les Moulins
- Raise the visibility of the MRC Les Moulins and contribute toward the enhancement of its cultural and tourist image and identity
- Promote cultural and tourist activities in the MRC Les Moulins
- Raise awareness of visiting tourists and the local community regarding the countless treasures that abound in the region
- Position tourism as a driving economic force within the region
- Cultivate the expertise required to heighten the profile of our region
- Encourage and stimulate collaboration between the various stakeholders working in the private and public sectors, who specialize in the recreation, tourism, cultural and/or heritage sectors
- Promote and provide beneficial skills and resources to favour a harmonious expansion of tourism and cultural industries within the MRC Les Moulins
- Assist in organizing events, meetings and conferences
